Vintage Mongolian Fur

The past couple of weeks have been freezing! I don't particularly like the cold weather, but it gives me a reason to wear all my furs without looking like a crazy lady. I got this jacket at the Mormon thrift store last year. It's a vintage 60's-70's Mongolian fur jacket. I wear it out sometimes when I take out the trash or pick up a sack of potatoes at the grocery store, but other than that I don't bother trying to look cute in it. However this past Thanksgiving weekend the right party and occasion was perfect for it.

My New Favorite: The Shaggy Sweater

I saw a post on Chictopia last month about this fabulous shaggy knit sweater (see below) and a couple days after seeing the post I scored and found one very similar (if not the same) for only a whopping $6. It's now my new favorite item of clothing and has been on constant replay since I got it. I also featured it in a recent photo shoot I styled. Stay tuned for those photos!

I don't usually post my looks on this blog for a couple of reasons. I don't have the luxury of a standby paparazzi, and also because in the last year or so I have become more and more camera shy. I think its the newly acquired love handles and chubby cheeks. Anyway...I got a new laptop, with it came a built in web cam, so thought I'd test it out a bit. Besides, I liked my outfit so much that I just had to.

People always ask me..."Where do you get your lashes from?" Well, I get them for $1.99 at Daiso Japan dollar stores.


First I was obsessed with sequins, but I think metallics are the next big thing for me.
